Fonz Posted October 27, 2003 Report Share Posted October 27, 2003 hi, I'm new here and I have a question. I'm thinking about buying the MZ N10 for my christmas, actually not only my chrismas. I confinced my grandparantes and my parents to give me my, christmas, easter, birthday all in one prez so it's kind of a big investment for me as you can see. I did lot's of research and I really like the N10, it's definatly the one for me, when you know that my currant unit is the MZ R35. So why this post then? Well bacues it's such a big investement I wanna make sure that after I bought the MZ N10, 2 months later there isn't a better unit on the market, one that can upload from MD to Pc and one that can record SP trough the NetMD software (I hope you ppl understand what I'm trying to say.) So after this long explanation comes a simple question, when does Sony annouce their new models for next year? and are there maybe gonna be some models with the mentioned abilities? clonmult Posted October 27, 2003 Report Share Posted October 27, 2003 I had a friend check with contacts at sony a little while back about Sony staff discounts for MD decks; not much of a discount as it turned out. They did confirm that new decks were "coming soon". Which was pretty irritating, still went for a 510, does all I want, the price was right. One possible bonus - prices of N10/910, etc may come down soon. Then again, plenty of places here in the UK are still overcharging for the 505 and 707s.
